Radim Vrbata and the Phoenix Coyotes did what only three teams have done -- rally after two periods to beat the Chicago Blackhawks. Vrbata scored the lone goal of the shootout and the Coyotes twice came back from two-goal deficits to beat the Blackhawks 5-4 on Saturday night for their eighth straight win.
Red Wings' Zetterberg beats OT buzzer

Down by a couple of goals, missing a couple of forwards and playing for the second straight night, the Detroit Red Wings never stopped coming at the Vancouver Canucks. If they want to make the playoffs for a 19th straight season, they will have to repeat that night after night. Henrik Zetterberg scored as the overtime buzzer sounded to lift the Red Wings to a dramatic 4-3 victory over the Canucks.
Ovechkin scores in return, Capitals win

On a night Alex Ovechkin scored in his return from a two-game suspension, another NHL MVP was the player of the game. Jose Theodore made a case to be the Washington Capitals playoff goalie with 33 saves in a 3-1 victory over the Tampa Bay Lightning on Saturday night. "I thought (Jose) was outstanding," Capitals coach Bruce Boudreau said.

Thrashers continue playoff push with win

The new-look Atlanta Thrashers are showing they didn't give up on the playoffs when they traded Ilya Kovalchuk. Colby Armstrong and Nik Antropov have helped lead a more balanced scoring attack that has the Thrashers back in playoff contention. Armstrong scored two goals and the Thrashers beat the Philadelphia Flyers 5-2 on Saturday night for their third straight win.
Blues' Conklin defeats Devils 1-0

Ty Conklin has gone from backup goalie to a key part of the St. Louis Blues' late-season push for a playoff spot. Conklin made 29 saves in his fourth shutout of the season, and the Blues beat the New Jersey Devils 1-0 on Saturday night. Conklin made a second straight start, both road victories for the Blues.
