Panthers Team Report
(Sat, 21 Nov 2009 00:39:53 PST)
Just when you count the Panthers out, they somehow pull themselves back into things.
A win on Wednesday in Buffalo was a great start to a rough three-game road trip, but Friday's overtime victory win in Detroit could just give the Panthers enough fuel to start really playing special.
The Panthers dug themselves into a huge hole by winning just two of their first 10 games to start the season, but things are definitely starting to stabilize. The Panthers have won seven of their past 10 and are 9-9-2.
"From where we started," said Bryan McCabe, "we never thought we'd see that."
Friday's win was Florida's first in overtime not involving a shootout. The Panthers didn't do much but stick around Friday night, obviously this team's new M.O.
