Coyotes Team Report
(Fri, 19 Mar 2010 02:30:50 PDT)
Just when you thought the Coyotes had won a game in every possible fashion in this improbable season, they added another page to their playbook with a wild win over the Panthers, completing a perfect 4-0 road trip and extending their winning streak to seven games.
Down 3-0 with 17 minutes left and looking exhausted from the long trip, the Coyotes regrouped and stormed back against a Florida team desperate for points. Martin Hanzal and Lee Stempniak scored goals 43 seconds apart to get the Coyotes close. A little divine intervention from above—Radim Vrbata's dump-in toward the net took a weird hop and somehow eluded Panthers goalie Thomas Vokoun—brought them all the way back.
