(Fri, 06 Nov 2009 21:05:45 PST)
They have played each other with both a Super Bowl and a playoff spot at stake. There was the "Bounty Bowl," Emmitt Smith getting stuffed, Eagles fans cheering for a motionless Michael Irvin, and Terrell Owens stoking controversy for each side. Dallas and Philadelphia have lined up against each other 99 times in games that have forged one of the most heated rivalries in the NFL.
Eagles Team Report
(Fri, 06 Nov 2009 16:59:19 PST)
Brian Westbrook is anxious to get back out on the field Sunday against the Dallas Cowboys and prove that he can still play football at a high level.
Westbrook's eighth NFL season has been a frustrating one. The 30-year-old running back injured his ankle in the Eagles' Week 2 loss to the New Orleans Saints, sat out one game and got just eight touches in another.
The ankle finally healed, but then he suffered a concussion in Week 7 against the Washington Redskins when he was accidentally kneed in the head by linebacker London Fletcher. That injury kept him on the sideline for last week's 40-17 win over the New York Giants.
But Westbrook was back on the practice field this week, and barring an unexpected setback, he will start against the Cowboys Sunday night when...
