Kings Team Report
(Tue, 16 Mar 2010 01:10:35 PDT)
The only curiosity in this one, with the Minnesota Timberwolves looking the part of sad-sack outfit with an eight-game losing streak coming into Arco Arena, was whether or not Tyreke Evans was going to collect his second triple-double in three games—and the second of his career.
With 6:04 left and ahead 105-79, Kings coach Paul Westphal pulled his rookie guard a rebound shy of the magical mark. Evans was still the player of the game with 29 points, nine rebounds and 11 assists, making 10-of-19 shots, all seven of his free throws and turning it over just twice. Evans, the NBA's leading candidate for Rookie of the Year honors, had 12 points in the first quarter and 24 points at the half, including two three-point plays on driving lay-ups late in the second quarter.

Evans just misses another triple-double, Kings win
(Sun, 14 Mar 2010 21:45:26 PDT)
Heading into the fourth quarter with a 33-point lead and victory nearly assured, the biggest drama remaining for the Sacramento Kings was whether Tyreke Evans would get his second triple-double in five days. A rookie point guard, Evans didn't get the triple-double, but the Kings still got the lopsided victory.

Landry leads Kings past Rockets 84-81
(Wed, 03 Mar 2010 21:32:49 PST)
Carl Landry's most memorable game in Houston may be the first one he played in a visitor's uniform. The former Rocket had 22 points and 10 rebounds against his old team, leading the Sacramento Kings to an 84-81 win Wednesday night. The Rockets traded the popular power forward to the Kings in a three-team swap just before the deadline in a deal that sent Tracy McGrady to New York.
