In May of 1999, NASCAR drivers Bobby Labonte and Rusty Wallace helped kick off the construction celebration of this track in the Midwest. Kansas Speedway is one of the newer additions to the NASCAR family.
The grandstands at Kansas Speedway seat more than 81,000 people. The track is located about 15 miles west of downtown Kansas City.
One of the many interesting attractions at Kansas Speedway is Fan Walk located in the infield of the speedway. Fan Walk gives the fans access to what goes on behind the scenes in motorsports. This
exclusive area is only accessible to 3,000 fans per day.
