Is Oktoberfest a Free Event?
Anyone can enter the Oktoberfest grounds and tent admission is free. However, once full capacity is reached and you do not have a reserved seat you will not be allowed into the tent. Most large tents reach maximum capacity early and then become closed to "walk ups". You will not have access to food or beer without a seat.

Purchasing a reservation allows you to avoid long lines and the risk of waiting for hours and then being denied admission due to capacity issues. Reservations are typically sold out months in advance and very difficult to come by. On weekends and opening day they can be sold out years in advance or only available to regular patrons and celebrities. Through our connections on the secondary market we have made it possible for any one to get a seat reservation.

Oktoberfest is the largest public festival in the world with over 6.5 million visitors over 16 days. It is held at the Theresienwiese, a large 90 acre park in Munich. It serves over 400,000 people per day which mean for every 4.5 people attending the event there is one seat, so reservations are highly recommended.

How do I purchase Oktoberfest Tent Reservations from Empire Tickets?

How will I get my Oktoberfest Reservation Voucher?
Reservation vouchers will either be shipped to you or you will meet a representative in Munich (Meet & Greet).

Meet & Greet Information:
Some tent reservation vouchers can only be delivered via meet & greet. We will need your travel information including; arrival dates, cell phone number, and hotel address in Germany so that we can get in touch to organize your meet & greet appointment.

Shipping Information:
If you have ordered reservations ahead of time (before the reservation date) and we have the vouchers in hand, we will be able to ship via FedEx within the US. If you have already left for Germany we can also arrange a shipment via FedEx International to your hotel address there.

Additional Terms and Conditions for Oktoberfest sales:
Empire Tickets cannot guarantee your reserved seats if you show up later than the indicated reservation time. The tents do not honor any reservations where the customers do not take their seats on time! No Exceptions. Empire Tickets will not be responsible for clients that are late or no-shows. All sales are Final, No Refunds or Exchanges.
